Mary "Kathy" Kathryn Williams , 84, of Moline, passed away Monday February 1, 2021 at UnityPoint-Trinity, Rock Island. A graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at National Cemetery, Arsenal Island, those wishing to attend are to meet at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island, 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 25, 2021. Memorials may be made to Ronald McDonald House of Iowa City. Kathy was born October 3, 1936 in Seymour, Iowa, a daughter of Thomas C. and Mary K. (Russell) Hull. She married Leonard E. Williams on November 1, 1955 in Galesburg, IL. He preceded her in death on March 9, 1967. Kathy was a nurse's aide for Rock Island County at the former Oak Glen Nursing Home for twenty years. She also did private duty nursing for many years. She was a member of Covenant Church, Moline, the Viking Club, and Moline Elks Lodge, where she enjoyed bingo. Kathy loved traveling, bus trips, Longaberger baskets, and celebrating St. Patrick's Day. Surviving are her daughters, Kathleen (Marti) Williams Rave, Normal, IL, Jeannette Williams Edmonds, Rock Island, IL, Christine (William) Williams Burkert, East Moline, IL, and Connie Williams Vasquez, Davenport, IA; grandchildren, Kyle (Beki) Rave, McKenzie Rave, Blake Rave, Baine Rave, Darrell "Bud" Edmonds, Amanda (Jerry) Kelly, Abigail Burkert, Katelyn Burkert, Angel Vasquez, Joie (Sean) Hoteling, Danielle Vasquez and Juan Carlos Vasquez; fifteen great grandchildren; sisters, Carol Gotthardt, Rock Island, IL and Donna Grieve, Geneseo, IL; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; husband; granddaughters, Emily Williams and Ashley Rave; great grandchildren, Angel, Madeline, and Jackson; brother, James Hull, Sr.; and sisters, Sandra Kellett and Ruth Miller.
