Mary L. Meloen, 77, of Milan, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2015 at her home. There will be no services or visitation. Memorials may be made to the Quad Cities Animal Welfare Center, Milan. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan is assisting the family.

Mary was born on January 5, 1938 in Rock Island, a daughter of Julius and Ethel (Vogt) Schulz. She married Raymond Meloen on August 19, 1961. Mary was a telephone operator for AT&T for over 30 years.

Survivors include her sons, David Meloen, Kewanee and Michael Meloen, Kewanee; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sister, Shirley Hite, Tennessee; brothers, George Schulz, Texas and Richard Schulz, Tennessee.
