Mary R. Welch, 99, of Rock Island, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2019, at Silver Cross Nursing, Rock Island. Private services were held at Wheelan Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island. Burial was at Greenview Memorial Gardens Memorials, East Moline. Memorials may be made to Gilda's Club, Davenport. Mary was born March 5, 1919 in Rock Island County, a daughter of Charles and Jennifer Wood Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, William Welch, Bonita Springs, Florida, and Brad Welch, Rock Island; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul and daughter, Constance.
