Mattie L. Lee, 57, of Rock Island, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Genesis Medical Center – Illini Campus, Silvis.  Funeral services for Mattie will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7 ^th Ave., Rock Island.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made in care of the family.

Mattie was born on December 20, 1960 in Chicago, a daughter of O.J. Austin and Inez Shaw.  She married L.C. Lee, Jr.  Mattie was a homemaker for her children.  She enjoyed word searches, crossword puzzles, cooking, dancing and spending time with her family.

Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Inez Miller, Rock Island; children; Theresa Austin, Moline; Jonathan (Tanisha) Austin, Davenport; Terrill Austin, Rock Island; Michael Austin, Moline and Latoya Lee, E. Moline; many grandchildren and great grandchildren and siblings; Clara Davis, Rock Island; Maurice Austin, Moline; Maxine Miles, Davenport; Maybelline Sturdivant, Tennessee; Patricia Buels, New Mexico; Patricia Windom and Pearlie Miller, Phoenix, Ariz.; Sampson Miller, Jr., Minnesota; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father.
