Obituary
Max "Hunty" Smith III , 65, of Rock Island, passed away November 18, 2020 at University of Iowa Medical Center, Iowa City.
No services are planned at this time. Inurnment is at National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Arrangements are entrusted to Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island.
Max was born August 18, 1955, a son of Max, Jr. and Dawna Davis Smith. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Surviving are his siblings, Toni Smith, Decatur, Ill., Timothy Smith and Lori Smith both of Rock Island; four nephews and three nieces and their families.
