Michael "Mikey" D. Wallarab, 44, of Metamora, passed away Sunday August 14, 2016 at his home.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm Saturday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 201 E. 4th Avenue, Milan. Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 to service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left for his daughters educational fund.

Michael was born on March 6, 1972 in Moline, the son of Dean Wallarab and Kayleen Pitcher. He was to be married in September to the love of his life Theresa Hicks.

Mr. Wallarab had been employed with Boilermakers Local 60, Morton for the last 10 years. Previously he had been employed at by Mitsubishi in Bloomington.

Michael was a member of Boilermakers Local 60 and graduate of Rock Island High School Class of 1991. He loved to ride his Harley Davidson, spend time with his family and friends. Mickey also enjoyed watching Nascar and motorcycle racing.

Survivors include his parents, Kayleen and Chuck Anderson, Dean and Lois Wallarab; fiancée, Theresa Hicks; daughters, Taylor and Paige Wallarab, Tabitha and Cheyenne Hicks; grandmothers, Helen Pitcher and Betty Anderson; siblings, Carrie Lynn, Suzy, Carrie Leigh, Natalie and Nick; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Pitcher, Earl and Shirley Wallarab; uncle, Donnie Camlin; cousins, Davey Camlin and Julie Johnson.
