Michael "Duck" E. Ford, 74, of Rock Island, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.

Per his wishes no services are to be held and cremation rites have been accorded. Burial will be at Allen's Grove Cemetery. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Michael was born May 21, 1941 in Moline, the son of Leo and Helen (Kiss) Ford. He married Pamela Otto in 1993 in Rock Island. Michael worked as a security officer for Top Gun Securities.

Michael is survived by his wife, Pam Otto; son, Michael (Jolynn) Ford; daughter, Ronda Ford; numerous grandchildren; sisters, Kathy Elceser, Teresa Reeves, and Laura (Milton) Spidle; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special nephew, Steve Ford. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Randy Crowe-Ford; stepson, Christopher Otto; brothers, Danny, Leo, and one in infancy; and sister, Lonnie Deibert.

Michael's family would like to extend a special thank you to the nursing staff at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House for their excellent help and care during Michael's stay.
