Michael "Mike" E. Lang, 76, of East Moline, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Park Vista Retirement Living, East Moline.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island, with visitation to be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be left in care of Alleman Catholic High School, Rock Island.

Mike was born on November 16, 1948, in Moline, IL, a son of Edward W. Jr. and Margaret (Flynn) Lang. He graduated from Alleman High School in 1967. Mike proudly served in the United States Army before later working for John Deere. He retired from Davenport Works as the head of computer operations.

Mike's hobbies included gardening, antiquing, and collecting beer steins. He was a pizza connoisseur and an avid Notre Dame football fan.

Those left to cherish his memory include his siblings, Kathy (Rick) Hood, Milan, David (Theresa) Lang, Moline, Danny Lang, Rock Island, and Kenneth (Rhonda) Lang, Rock Island; and several nieces and nephews.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dennis Lang.
