Michael E. Ford, 59, of Rock Island, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023, at his home. A celebration of life gathering will be Monday, from 5 to 9 pm, at the Watch Hill Tower Community Room, 3705 9th Street, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to the family. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island is assisting the family.

Michael was born on October 18, 1963, in Rock Island, a son of Michael E. Ford and Karen (Smith) Crowe. He married Jolayne Bragg on November 17, 2007 in Rock Island. Michael was a former member of Two Rivers United Methodist Church, Rock Island. He was a volunteer at UPH-Trinity, Rock Island. He was a bell ringer for the Salvation Army. Michael was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and a member of the KISS Army.

Survivors include his wife, Jolayne; children, Shayla Wesner, Moline and Rebecca Elmore, Moline; a grandchild, Reagan; siblings, Ronda Ford, Moline, Julie (John) Smith, Moline, and Bonnie Crowe (Doug Tarver), Oklahoma.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Randy Ford-Crowe and Warren F. Crowe, Jr. and a niece, Bethanie.
