Michael J. Fulli, 87, of Rock Island, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at UnityPoint Health-Trinity, Rock Island. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 pm, Sunday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island, with a time of sharing to begin at 5 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a memorial fund that will be established later. Private inurnment will be at a later date in the Rock Island National Cemetery, where military honors will be conducted.

Michael was born on June 25, 1935, in Davenport, a son of Biagio and Helen (Glowacki) Fulli. He married Diann Selby in 1959. Michael later married Sherry Clark on January 14, 1979. Mr. Fulli was a field mechanic at John Deere Harvester Works, East Moline for 36 years, retiring in 1990. Michael enjoyed watching football, shooting pool, golfing and bowling. He was a member of the Moline American Legion Post No. 246 and the Rock Island Elks Lodge No. 980, where he was a Past Exalted Ruler. Mr. Fulli was a United States Marine Corp veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Sherry; children, Michelle (Craig) Robinson, Novato, CA., Monica Fulli, Springfield, ILL., Minda Azavedo, Petaluma, CA., Meridith (Greg) Venema, LeClaire, IA., Carl (Georgia) Fulli, Roseville, CA.; step daughter, Lisha Clark, Milan; grandchildren, Taylor Robinson, Keely Robinson, Zachery Azavedo, Chase Azavedo, Daniell (Bryan) Palmer, Logan Grothus, and Isabella Fulli; step grandchildren, Isaac Mejia, Israel Mejia, Isaias Mejia, and Joshua Mejia; and several great grandchildren.

Michael was preceded in death by a brother, Carlo Fulli; a sister, Emily Baxter; and a step grandson, Joseph Mejia.
