Michael C. Payton, 54, of Milan, passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021 at UnityPoint Health- Trinity, Rock Island.

Services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, October 22nd at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 am Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.

Michael was born on October 18, 1966 in Rock Island, the son of Charles and Joan (Fox) Payton. He married Ruby Wade on March 24, 1986 in Davenport.

Michael took much pride in his work as a roofer for Foley Contracting in Davenport. His other hobbies included riding motorcycles, playing PlayStation, pool and spending quality time with his family.

Those left to cherish Michael's memory include his wife; parents, Charles and Joan, Rock Island; son, Michael (Christa) Payton, Milan; grandkids, Michael, Eylse, Elizabeth and Alexis.

He was preceded in death by three infant sons, Christopher Edward, Tony Lee and Christopher Michael.
