Michael Aaron Pearson, 29, of Milan, passed away April 20th, 2014 at his home. Services will be 11 am Saturday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 801 W. Edgington St., Reynolds. Visitation will be Friday from 4-8 pm at the funeral home in Reynolds. Burial will be in Edgington Cemetery. Memorials may be made in care of the family to establish a fund for Mike's son, Rowen.

Mike was the son of Keith William (Kay) Pearson of Edgington, IL, and Bonnie Jean (fiancé, Steve Baker), Rushing Pearson and was born on December 11, 1984 in Frankfurt West Germany.

Mike attended Rockridge High School and was enrolled at Hamilton Technical School where he was on the Dean's List for academic performance. Mike loved fishing, hunting, camping, cars, Legos, playing chess, video games and watching the Green Bay Packers proudly play football. During the spring, summer and fall, he was often found pitching a tent next to the family pond and enjoying time with family and friends.

Survivors include Mike's son, Rowen Michael Pearson, born April 8, 2014, of Milan; fiancee, Miranda Gano, Milan; parents Keith William (Kay) Pearson, Edgington, IL. and Bonnie Jean (fiance, Steve Baker) Rushing Pearson, Davenport; brother, Nicholas Keith Pearson, Edgington; sister, Elizabeth Kristine Pearson of Davenport; Grandparents, William Donald (Barbara nee Seitz) Pearson, Edgington, Brenda Joy (Chuck) Hall Glancey, Paris, Tenn., Beverly Jean (Albert) Cole Bredemeyer, Branson, Mo.; his nephews Damon Nicholas Pearson, Edgington and Jacob Juventino Mejia, Davenport; and several cousins, aunts & uncles.

He is preceded in death by his Grandfather David Lee Rushing and cousin, Andrew James Hurst.
