Michael F. Pomeroy, 69, of Rock Island, passed away Tuesday November 11, 2014 at UPH-Trinity, Rock Island.
A graveside service will be 2:30 p.m. Friday at the chapel of Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island, with burial following. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are entrusted to Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 3030 - 7th Ave., Rock Island. Memorials may be made to the family to be designated later.
Michael was born December 27, 1944 in Rock Island, a son of Fay L. and Louella Musel Pomeroy. He worked for several area foundries for many years.
Surviving are his son, Michael H. Pomeroy, Rock Island; sister, Audrey Solomon, Rock Island; brother, Delmar Baughman, Rock Island, and numerous nieces, nephews, and their children.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Ralph Pomeroy; and one niece.
