Michael Waters, 61, of Rock Island, passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island. Visitation will be held one-hour prior at the funeral home from 5 to 6 p.m. Face masks and social distancing are required.

Michael was born on April 11, 1959 in Rock Island, a son of Homer Waters and Loreine Kee. He graduated from Rock Island High School.

Those left to cherish Michael's memory include his sisters and brothers-in-law, Creta and Robert Carrol, and Lois and Ira Whitaker; brothers, John and Homer Waters; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; and aunt, Enda Robinson.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents; maternal grandparents, Mae and Eugene Kee; and brother, Philip Waters.
