Michael “Mick” John Wilson, 60, of Milan, passed away suddenly on Friday July 24, 2026 in Rock Island.

A gathering to celebrate his life will be held at a later date.

Mick was born on May 13, 1966 in Rock Island, the son of Michael L. and Sheree (Bowser) Wilson. He was a graduate of Alleman High School, Rock Island.

Mick was a member of the Cement Masons Local 18, after working in his earlier years as a Laborer with Local 309. He worked on construction projects throughout the Quad Cities including the new 74 Bridge. He always helped family and friends however he could. Mick was a very strong minded, hardworking person, with a great faith in God.

Mick was a loving son, father, grandfather and brother. He loved spending time with his family and friends, the outdoors, camping, fishing, canoe trips and having a good time!

Survivors include his children, Michael (Carlie) Wilson Jr., Megan (Alec) Peterson; grandchildren, Grayson, Sawyer, Bentley, Sutton; parents, Michael and Sheree Wilson; brother, Mark (Christine) Wilson and nephew, Brenon Wilson.
