Michael A. Wolfe, 74, of Moline passed away on Friday, March 29, 2024 surrounded by family at UnityPoint Health Trinity, Rock Island.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, April 5, 2024 at Rock Island National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. A visitation will be held on Friday from 9:00-11:00 am at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. Those wishing to attend the graveside service must be at the funeral home by 11:15 am. Memorials may be left in care of the family.

Michael was born on January 3, 1950 in Moline, IL, the son of Royal and Nancy (Parker) Wolfe. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Michael retired as a molder and production controller for the Rock Island Arsenal Joint Manufacturing and Tech Center (JMTC).

Michael's hobbies include gardening, model building, basket weaving, wood working, tinkering, playing the guitar and drums and bird watching.

Those left to cherish Michael's memory include his sons, Adam (Leah) Wolfe and Aaron (Abigail) Wolfe; grandchildren, Cameron, Zachery, Kaitlyn, Royal and Ronnie; sisters, Sheri (Don) Gross and Sheila (Buzzy) King; nieces, Tracy (Scott) and Jenn (Mike); nephews, Tommy (Melissa), Josh (Tonya) and Joe (Lindsay); great nieces, Shelby, Tori, Brooke, Laci, Caylee, Hannah, Madison, Maci, Gretchen and Addison; great nephews, Colton, Devon, Marcus and Carter; great-great niece Kaiya (with another due in September); and great-great nephew, Kairo.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents and his feline companion, Maude.
