Michelle Watters, 30, of Davenport, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2026 at MercyOne Genesis Hospital, East, Davenport.

Celebration of Life service will be 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030-7th Avenue, Rock Island. Visitation will be 10:00a.m. to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at National Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials can be made to QC Humane Society.

Michelle was born February 11, 1996 in Paterson, NJ the daughter of Marcos Araya and Teresa Sanchez. She married Tyler S. Watters on December 22, 2018 in Davenport, Iowa.

Michelle worked for the Iowa State Hygienic Lab, Iowa City.

Michelle enjoyed PC games, animals, painting, gardening, dog walks and going out to the wine and paint events.

Survivors include her husband, Tyler; fur-babies, Nahla, Hego and Cherry; mother, Teresa Sanchesz, NJ; father, Marcos Araya, NJ; brothers, Bryan A. Canaveral, NJ and Mark Araya-Carrera, NJ; his grandparents, Ron and Rose Northcutt; his siblings, Cassady Watters, Cody Northcutt and Katie VanDam and several cousins including Mary Munoz.
