Mildred J. Kemerling, 75, Milan, IL passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at UnityPoint-Trinity Hospital in Rock Island, IL. There will be a visitation from 2-4:00 PM on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.

Mildred was born on February 29, 1948 to Lenora Maxine (Taylor) and Grover Carver II in Bloomington, IL. She lived in the area until the late 80s when she moved to Milan where she made her home and raised her children.

Mildred worked in distribution at Sarah Lee and Wonder Bread and then for the past 13 years had been employed in the warehouse at Lynco.

Mildred loved to fish and enjoyed crafting and spending time in her flower garden.

She is survived by her children, Kimberly (Robert) Pakidis, Karen Lee, Ronald (Alisa) Tucker, and Michelle Kemerling; siblings, Grover (Karen) Carver III, April Klockenga, and Sylvia (Bud) Price; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, John Carver.
