Molly M. Gardner, 82, of Rock Island, passed away Friday, January 27, 2017 at UnityPoint-Trinity, Rock Island.

In accordance with her wishes no services are planned at this time. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030-7th Ave., Rock Island, is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials may be made to the family.

Molly was born September 6, 1934 in Moline, a daughter of Edward and Carol Gregg Knight. She married Ronald Gardner on June 19, 1954 in Rock Island. He preceded her in death in 2007.

She was a homemaker and will be fondly remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all.

Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law, Melody Gardner (Alan Beggerow), Rock Island and Margo Gardner (Michael Nelson), Oregon, IL; son and daughter-in-law, Randall and Julie Gardner; grandchildren, Amanda (Cory) Levan, Adam Soady, Jordan and Zachary Johnson, Isaac, Ian and Isabelle Nelson, Spencer and Jonathan Gardner; and six great grandchildren.

Molly was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one sister and one brother.
