Mu Bree, 90, of Rock Island, passed away Saturday August 20, 2022 at her home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00am Saturday August 27, 2022 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. The family will greet friends from 9:00am to service time. Burial will follow in Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery.

She was born in Myanmar (formerly known as Burma) on January 7, 1932 to San Pyne and Mu Kwee.

Mu had worked several years as a teacher in Myanmar.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Sarah, Breena, Sabra, Wilbert, Ehmwee and Baythingsha; sister, Dahlay; several grandchildren and a large extended family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and 3 children.
