Nancy L. Goyins Skaggs, 72, of Milan, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Heartland Health Care Center, Moline. Per Nancy's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan is assisting the family.

Nancy Lu Goyins was born on February 4, 1943 in Davenport, the daughter of Thomas H. and Effie I. Linnander Goyins. She graduated from Rock Island High School and was employed by the City of Rock Island for 20 years; primarily working as the city's first Civilian Evidence Technician. She greatly enjoyed gardening, knitting, reading and spending time with her cat, Mouse.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons; Terry Lee Skaggs, Jr. of Rock Island and Tracy Lon (Kristin) Skaggs of Milan; a brother, Thomas (Karen) Goyins of Ocala, FL; and a special niece, Tammy Reihm.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
