Nancy L. McCombs Gosney, 74, of Milan, died Saturday, Sept. 12, 2015 at Fort Armstrong, Rock Island. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be made in care of the family.

Nancy was born in Moline on June 25, 1941, a daughter of Edward and Lucille Mosher McCombs. She married Robert Gosney Sr. on July 26, 1957. They were married 43 years and had three children together.

Nancy served many years as the Village Clerk in Milan before working for the Rock Island County Clerk's office where she retired.

Nancy enjoyed playing cards and BINGO. Her biggest joy and love of her life was her family.

Survivors include her children (and spouses), Nancy Lynn Hanson, Rock Island, Bobby (Cindy) Gosney Jr., Jeffersonville, Ind. and Mark Gosney, Milan; grandchildren, Brooke (Seth) Gackle, Erica (Andrew) Lopez, Mark (Shelby) Gosney Jr., Jessica (Korey) Craddock, Michael (Courtney) Gosney and Julie Gosney; great-grandchildren, Isaiah and Abram Lopez, Kolton Craddock and Ava Gosney; and brothers, Bill (Nancy) McCombs, Rock Island and Rick (Ronnda) McCombs, Taylor Ridge.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Eileen Stark, Dorothy Roessler and Sharon Gipe and brother, Edward McCombs.
