Nancy McManus, 84, of Milan, IL, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at her home.

A Celebration of Life will be from 12PM to 3PM on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at Pinnacle Country Club, Milan, IL. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan is assisting the family with arrangements.

Nancy was born on August 24, 1941, in Stockton, Iowa, a daughter of Henry and Geraldine (Sambdman) Bohnsack. She graduated from Rockridge High School and married Thomas J. McManus on May 1, 1966.

Nancy was a lifelong beautician, homemaker, and also spent 20 years working for the ARC of the Quad Cities. Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family, time outdoors, gardening, and time with animals, especially cats. She especially cherished watching her grandchildren show cattle and participate in sports.

Those left to cherish Nancy’s memory include her husband of 60 years, Tom; sons and daughters-in-law, Marty and Laura McManus and Marlin and Shavonna McManus; grandchildren, Dan, Sydney, Kyle, Colton and Caleb; three great grandchildren; and a brother Jim (Joyce) Bohnsack.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents.
