Nancy Lee Jacobsen, 88, of East Moline, died Thursday, April 8, 2021 at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Rock Island.  There will be no public services.  A private family graveside service will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery, Rock Island.  Memorials may be made in care of the family.  Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island, is assisting the family.

Nancy was born in Racine, Wisconsin on March 1, 1933, a daughter of Otto and Ella Rost Rannow.  She married Robert E. Jacobsen on July 24, 1952 in Rock Island.  He preceded her in death in December of 1976.

Nancy spent the majority of her life as a homemaker.  She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She enjoyed playing games.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children (and spouses), Debra (Tom) Phillips, Rock Island, Colleen (Darrell) Trobaugh and Janelle (Doug) Herrmann, both of Moline, Jennifer (Randy) Ballard, Silvis and Robert Jacobsen Jr., Eric Jacobsen, Steven (Gail) Jacobsen and David (Cindy) Jacobsen, all of East Moline; 27 grandchildren; many great and great-great grandchildren; three brothers; son-in-law, Tim Ruefer; and daughter-in-law, Rhonda Jacobsen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Paula Ruefer, son, Jeffrey Jacobsen, grandson, Andrew Curtner and nine siblings.
