Nellie M. Schare, 75, of Milan, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at her home. There are no services planned at this time. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island is assisting the family.

Nellie was born on July 13, 1939 in Metropolis, Ill., a daughter of Juel Howard Anderson and Nellie Barton Anderson. She worked for PSS in Rock Island, retiring in 2008. Nellie enjoyed motorcycles, playing Yahtzee and listing to Willie Nelson songs.

Survivors include her mother, Nellie Anderson, Rock Island; children, Kathy (Jim) McGann, Stockton, CA., Rick Arzdorf, Tucson, AZ., Lori Rogers, Lone Tree, CO., and Rajunell Singh, India; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a sister, Jewel (Larry) Dunsmoor, Rock Island; a brother, Roy Anderson, Tallassee, TN.; and a cousin, Carol Sparks, Milan.
