Nichole L. Huizenga, 38, of Moline, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2024, at her home.

A visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Friday, August 30, 2024, at the Knox Chapel of Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 2106 7th Ave, Rock Island, IL, 61201 . The funeral service will be at 11:00am on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Grace City Church, 1925 5th Ave, Rock Island, IL, 61201. Burial will be in Hampton Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made in care of the family.

Nichole was born July 3, 1986, in Moline, the daughter of John R. Huizenga and Lisa S. McNew. Nichole met Marcus Earnest, and they have been together for 15 years. Nichole enjoyed shopping and wearing lots of bling. She was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and WWE fan. She enjoyed trips to Florida and being able to go to the beach. Nichole loved her family with all her heart, especially her son Amari, who was her entire world.

Those left to cherish her memory are Marcus Earnest, Moline; her son, Amari Earnest, Moline; mother, Lisa Thomas, Moline; father, John Huizenga, WI; sister, Carissa (John) Young, NC; special friend and cousin, Amy McNew, Hampton; and many more extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harold and Ramona Huizenga, Larry J. McNew, and Virginia Wangelin; uncle, Larry C. McNew; and step-father, Terry Thomas.
