Nickie Marie Misner, 45, Rock Island, IL passed away at her home on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 of natural causes. No services are currently planned. Memorials may be made to the family.

Nickie was born on March 10, 1979 in Davenport, IA. She was raised by her parents, Victor Henson and Dorothy (Elfgen) Henson, in Rock Island. She attended Rocky and West High Schools.

She had her miracle baby Sam in 2017. Samual was her "nugget" and the light of her life. Nickie was a stay-at-home mom who enjoyed every day taking care of her son and becoming fast friends with everyone she met. In her spare time, Nickie enjoyed rooting for the Bears.

Nickie was loved by everyone she met. Her smile lit up the room and her laugh was contagious, She greeted everyone with a hug and family meant everything to her.

She is survived by her parents, Victor and Dorothy Henson; son, Samuel Hickman Jr.; siblings, Tim Elfgen, Laura Henson, Jerimy Henson, and Victor Henson Jr.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Elfgen.

In lieu of services there will be a celebration of life announced at a later date.
