Norma J. Poling, 86, of Rock Island, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021, at her residence.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Monday, May 3, 2021 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan.  Private burial will be at National Cemetery, Rock Island.  Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to the National Epilepsy Foundation.

Norma was born on July 22, 1934 in Indiana, the daughter of Carl D. and Mary E. (Hosler) Glick.  She married Maurice Poling on July 11, 1953 in Indiana.  She worked as a Pharmacy Tech at Eagles Pharmacy for 24 years.  Norma volunteered at the blood center as a driver for 14 years.  She enjoyed going to casinos, bird watching, grandchildren's sports and activities and traveling.  Norma loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Norma is survived by her children, Randy (Laura) Poling, East Moline, Ron (Aleksandra) Poling, Oceanside, CA, Rick (Kim) Poling, Andalusia, Kevin Poling, IN, and Kent (Vickie) Poling, FL; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; brother, Ed (Janet) Glick, GA; sister-in-law Jean Glick, TN; and bonus family, Greg and Penny Spragg and family.  She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brothers, Darel and Phillip Glick; and sister, Elaine Tizzard.
