Norma L. Munson, 90, of Milan, passed away Friday December 8, 2017 at Aspen Health Care, Silvis.  Visitation will be from 10am to 11 am, Wednesday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. Following visitation graveside services will be in the Greenmound Cemetery, Keithsburg.  Memorials may be left to the Appalachian Children's Fund. Norma was born on November 28, 1927 the daughter of Roy and Alice (Bagley) Smith. She had worked as a secretary for H.C. Duke Co. for over 20 years. Norma married Ross Munson on December 2, 1945. He preceded her in death. She later married Joseph Munson in May 1, 2004. He also preceded her in death. She had been a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and volunteered for Pathway Hospice for 12 years. Norma enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors include children, Suzanne Munson, Milan, Brett(Donna) Munson, Milan, Julie Munson, Milan; step children, Sandra(Bob) Pitts, Sharon(Bill) Coons, Chris (Jim) Merulla, all of Iowa; 7 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and a special friend, Steve Orling.
