IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Norma L.
Weber
December 9, 1934 – January 17, 2026
Norma L. Weber, 91, of Milan, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, January 17, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Marion Township, Iowa, Norma was the cherished daughter of Leslie and Emma (Nesteby) Lantz. She found love and companionship when she married Frank Weber on June 3, 1957. Together, they created a warm and nurturing home, raising two beloved children, Frank Jr. and Lisa. In her rich and fulfilling life, Norma dedicated over a decade to serving her community at the Rock Island Post Office. She had a passion for art and spent more than 30 years honing her painting skills, taking lessons with her dear friend, Fran. Norma's zest for life was evident in her love for bowling and golf; in fact, she proudly achieved a Hole-In-One, a testament to her dedication and talent in the sport. A true green thumb, she found joy in her flowers. Family and friends alike cherished her delicious baking, particularly her renowned Banana Cake.
Norma is lovingly remembered by her husband of 68 years, Frank; daughter, Lisa Weber; her daughter-in-law, Sandy Weber; and her treasured grandchildren, Jordan Weber, Nicolas Petrie, and Alex Weber. She is also survived by her sister, Sherri Stoffel, and numerous nieces and nephews who knew the warmth of her affection.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved son, Frank Weber Jr.; and her siblings, LaVerne Lantz and Verna Kuehl. A memorial visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 E 4th Ave, Milan, IL, 61264. During this time, family and friends will gather to celebrate Norma's life, share cherished memories, and support one another in their grief. Memorial contributions may be made in care of the family.
The family would like to thank the staff of In Home Care Connections and Beacon of Hope hospice for their compassionate care. Norma leaves behind a vibrant tapestry of memories that will forever be cherished in the hearts of her family and friends.
