Norman Arthur Wakefield, 78, went to his heavenly home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 19, 2022.  Norman was born January 24, 1943, the son of Arthur Leroy Wakefield and Wilma Elizabeth Hutchinson Wakefield.  He grew up on his parent's farm South of Milan and lived there several years helping his father and mother with daily chores, planting and harvesting.  He attended Sherrard schools.

Norman loved his family and enjoyed visiting with them, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.  He also enjoyed collecting items and displaying them in his home.  Norman was a Christian and had a heart of gold.  He has made many friends over the years.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Wilma Wakefield; his father, Arthur Wakefield; his brother, Byron Wakefield; and his brother-in-law, Marvin Krouse.  He is survived by his sister, Joanne Wakefield Krouse, sister-in-law, Linda Wakefield, several cousins, nieces and nephews.
