Oliver Addison DeJonge, 3, of Andalusia, passed away after a brief and courageous battle with Burkitt's Lymphoma/Leukemia on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at home with his parents by his side.  There will be no services for Oliver.  The family requests memorials be made in care of the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital, Iowa City, Iowa.  Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan, is assisting the family.

Oliver was born on January 24, 2020 in Moline, Illinois, the son of Travis and Megan Sonnenberg DeJonge.

He was an extremely playful, sweet, fun loving kid who adored playing outdoors and with his sister.

Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Travis and Megan DeJonge, Andalusia; sister, Clarke DeJonge; maternal grandparents, Brian and Beth Sonnenberg, Prophetstown, Ill.; paternal grandfather, Randy DeJonge, Sterling, Ill.; aunts and uncles, Jeremy and Ann Newman, Andrew Sonnenberg and his wife, Megan Ward, Dylan and Lexie Dejonge and Brandon DeJonge; and many loving cousins.

He was preceded by his paternal grandmother, Rhonda DeJonge.
