Orville R. Lamb, 86, a resident of Illinois Veterans Home, Quincy, passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the home. Graveside services for Mr. Lamb will be 1 pm, Wednesday at Greenview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, East Moline. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to the Illinois Veterans Home, Quincy.  Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan is assisting the family. Orville was born on August 18, 1931 in Salem, Iowa, a son of Earnest Lamb and Helen Kester Lamb. Mr. Lamb was the owner/operator of Lamb and Sons Furniture Cleaning and Upholstery. He was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association. Orville enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. Survivors include his children, Donnie Lamb, Taylor Ridge and Diane (Rob) Basala, St. Charles, MO.; eight grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and a brother, Earnest Lamb Jr., Woodhull; and several nieces and nephews.
