Pamela L. Evans, 44, of Rock Island, passed away Thursday May 22, 2014 at Unity Point-Trinity, Rock Island.Services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 3030 - 7th Ave., Rock Island, where visitation will be one hour prior to services. Inurnment will be at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family.

Pamela was born March 22, 1970 in Davenport, IA, a daughter of Bennie L. and Beverly Evans Hubbert.

She was a self-employed child care provider.

Surviving are her parents, Bennie Hubbert, Sr. and Beverly Evans, both of Rock Island; son, Cornelius Thompson, Rock Island; brothers, Samuel Evans, Jr., Bennie Lee Hubbert, Jr., and Harold Hubbert; sister, Deitria Beechum; a host of nieces and nephews, and special friends, Careletta, Stephanie, Tina, and Janetta.

Pamela was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mabel and George Humphrey, great-grandmother, Susie Kelley, stepfather, Sam Evans, and sister, Barbara Brown.
