IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Pamela "Pam"
J. Einfeldt
October 22, 1947 – August 20, 2023
Pamela J. Einfeldt, 75, of Andalusia, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2023, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.
Born October 22, 1947 in Burlington, Iowa, the oldest child of Dutch and Jeanne (Connery) Whitmore. Most of my childhood was spent in the Carman, Illinois area. I attended Gladstone Elementary and was to be the first class to attend Union High School. My father's work took us to the Quad Cities and I attended Rockridge High School. Dennis Hutt and I married and brought a beautiful human being, Roger Wayne, into this world. I believed in marriage and married three more times, however, I was never successful. I worked 10 years in the private sector and went to work for the federal government. I retired after 22 years of service from the Rock Island Arsenal. After a year of projects around the house, I volunteered at the Andalusia Elementary School Library for thirteen years doing something I loved and wished I had chosen as a profession. I served on the Andalusia Village Board of Trustees, as Finance Committee Chairperson for 12 years, another work I enjoyed.
Survived by youngest sister, Lori Lynn Weber; two brothers-in-law, Wayne Larson, and Douglas Leyendecker; nieces, Misty Leyendecker-Misbah (Wayne Stoops), Aron Larson; nephew, Dustin Leyendecker (Kim); 10 great nieces/nephews; and 3 great-great niece/nephews. Preceded in death by parents; son, Roger Wayne Hutt; sisters, Nancy Larson and Cindy Leyendecker; nieces, Amber Larson and Winona (Nona) Stallings.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. Visitation will be one-hour prior at the funeral home. Burial will be in Chapel Grove Cemetery, Taylor Ridge. Memorials may be made to Andalusia Elementary School.
