Pamela Sue Thompson, 69, of Rock Island, passed away Thursday March 10, 2022 at St. Anthonys Nursing and Rehabilitation, Rock Island.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm Saturday March 19, 2022 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. Visitation will be from 1:00pm to service time. Inurnment will be in Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be left to Church of Peace United Church of Christ, Rock Island.

Pam was born on June 30, 1952 in Rock Island, the daughter of Tommie and Tyyne (Kovisto) Thompson.

She had been employed as a teachers aide at the Villa Montessori School and had also been a private nanny for several years.

Pamela was a member of Church of Peace United Church of Christ, Rock Island.

Survivors include her sister, Nancy (Dennis) Spurgetis, Rock Island; nephews, Travis, Josh, Anthony (Brendon) and Jason; several great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tommie and Tyyne Thompson.
