Pamela Sue Schwager,62, passed away unexpectedly on March 29th. at home.

Visitation will be from 4-6pm Tuesday April 6th, 2021 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island.

She was born on January 30, 1959 in Rock Island, the daughter of Betty Truitt. She grew up in Colona and went to UT high school. She married Gary Schwager on December 31, 1991. He died on October 4,2009.

Pam enjoyed living in the small town of Andover for more than 25 years. She is the first person her children would call when anything exciting happened. Pam had very special relationships with all of her grandchildren and they were the most important people in the world to her. She lived to make their lives better. They are heartbroken that their Mimi is no longer here.

She is survived by her children, Eric Truitt, Kayla Truitt, Franni (Alex) Erickson, Gary Schwager II; grandchildren Kaydence Daly, Brady and Adelyn Truitt, Christopher and Annabelle Moody, Bain, Mila and Claire Schwager; 3 sisters, several nieces and nephews and many loyal and caring friends that were family to her, especially Tammy (Don) Diamond.

Preceding her in death include her husband, mother, a sister Patty Truitt, and a son-in-law Chris Moody.
