Patricia A. "Pat" Curry, 84, of Overlook Village in Moline, formerly of Milan, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at UnityPoint Health-Trinity, Rock Island. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday, November 19, 2022, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Andalusia. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2022, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. Burial will be in Chapel Grove Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation or St. Patrick Catholic Church.
Pat was born October 17, 1938, in Moline, a daughter of Ernie and Lois Hauman. She married William "Bill" Curry on August 30, 1958. Pat worked at Deere and Co. for 23 years. She was a devout Catholic and longtime member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Pat enjoyed traveling and playing bingo. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family. Pat was a courageous 25-year cancer survivor.
Survivors include her children, Jim Curry, Milan; Daniel (Drue) Curry, Milan; Mike (Judie) Curry, Little Elm, TX and Lisa (Peter Hosutt) Curry, Bel Air, Maryland; grandchildren, Sean (Lisa Garcia) Curry, Aaron (Amber Knittle) Curry, Joshua Hosutt, Tessa Hosutt, Taylor, Katie, Emma and Aly Curry; step-grandchildren, Marc (Maureen) Sierra, Elizabeth (Wayne) Dismer, Spencer (Betsy) Sierra, Jasmine Muniz, Samantha Sepeda and Stephen Tsouprakos; great-granddaughters, Elliana Curry and Erynlynn Curry; step-great-grandchildren, Kingston Muniz, Maggie, Rosie and Ruby Sierra and Jackson and Connor Dismer; brother, Chuck (Pam) Hauman, Rock Island; aunts, Loretta Irving and Darlene Meumann; brother-in-law, Richard Curry, Reynolds; special friend, Harold Ryckaert; and many other loving family members and friends.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill; sister-in-law, Bonnie Curry; and special friend, Judy Ryckaert.
The family would like to thank the staff at Overlook Village for the care and compassion given to Pat.
