Patricia Mae Burgess, 77, of Rock Island, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017.

Visitation is from 4 – 9 pm Saturday at Jake O's Grille, 2900 Blackhawk Rd, Rock Island. In lieu of flowers,  memorials may be given to the family.

Patricia was born September 8, 1939 in Moline, a daughter of John Joseph Burgess Jr. and Florence Mae (Woodard) Burgess.  Patricia was a loving daughter, sister and aunt.  She graduated Rock Island High School in 1957. She enjoyed working in the transportation business for many years; retiring in 2006. Patricia enjoyed bowling and spending time with family and friends.  Patricia will be remembered for her compassion, sense of humor and the love that she had for her family.  Patricia was the heart of the family and will be missed greatly.

Survivors include a nephew, Robert Bowsher, Rock Island; niece, Lisa Olmsted, Green Bay; a great nephew, Trevor Olmsted; aunt, Anne Fraioli, Chicago; aunt, Lavisa Satnoff, Sterling; cousin, Carol Blackburn; and Robert's special friend, Cindy Winland.
