Patricia A. Crowe, 80, of Rock Island, passed away Thursday, Jan. 22, 2015 at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Rock Island.

Funeral services are 11:30 a.m. Monday at First Lutheran Church, Moline. Burial is at the Rock Island National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Visitation is 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church, Moline, the American Cancer Society, or to Colorado Discover Ability.

Patricia Ann Strickland was born Dec. 25, 1934 in Rock Island, the daughter of Stanley and Mary Susan Barfield Strickland. She married Ralph K. Crowe on Dec. 24, 1955 at Faith Lutheran Church, Moline, where they were members for many years.

Pat graduated from Moline High School and Augustana College, where she received her bachelor of arts degree. She retired from the Rock Island Arsenal, where she worked in the payroll and accounting departments. Pat previously worked for the Internal Revenue Service and in early years taught at an elementary school.

She attended First Lutheran Church, Moline. Pat enjoyed flower gardening, playing Bridge, swimming, doing craft work and spending winters in Foley, Ala. Her greatest love was for her family and the times they were able to be together.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Ralph; sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce and Nancy Crowe, Coal Valley, and Michael "Mo" and Dorothy Crowe, Mesa, Colo.; and grandchildren, Kelsey (Eric) Jones, St. Louis, and Jacob Crowe, a student at Iowa State University, Ames. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Richard and Ronnie.
