Patricia A. Marshall, 66, of Rock Island, passed away Wednesday June 10, 2015 at UPH-Trinity, Rock Island.
Services will be 9:30am Saturday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00pm Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be left to the family.
Patricia was born on February 10, 1949 in Hannibal, MO., the daughter of Walter Mack Abbey and Jessie Mae Scott-Williams.
She had been a foster mother for over 20 years and also worked as a certified nursing assistant.
Survivors include her children, Don (Barbara) White Sr., Rock Island, Kenneth Clay Sr., Davenport, Angela (Timothy) Bragg, Rock Island, Terrance Clay, Rock Island, Darriel Clay, Clinton, IA.; sisters, Evelyn Manley, Delores Dade, both of Quincy, Vera Howard, Davenport; brothers, Albert Williams, Quincy, Milton Abbey, Hannibal, MO.; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson; a great granddaughter; sister, Bonnie Clay, Mattie Pearl Abbey, Vineyard Lucile Tate,Alice Marie Hawkins, Josephine Florence and brothers, Owen Abbey and Walter "Duck" Abbey.
