On this beautiful day Friday August 3, 2018, surrounded by her family, Patricia Ann Griffin, has went to be with the Lord.

A celebration of life service will be held at 12:00pm Saturday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island. Visitation will be from 10:00am to service time at the funeral home.

Patricia Ann Miller was born on February 8, 1936 in Marquette, MI, the daughter of Anton J. and Helen J. Miller. In January of 1960, she met the love of her life, Robert Griffin and married him in March of 1960. They were married 58 years and raised 4 wonderful children.

Mrs. Griffin worked as a Certified Nurses Aide for St. Anthony's, Rock Island and Oak Glen Home, until her retirement in 2009. She loved her dogs and most of all her grandchildren. Patricia enjoyed to work, travel, crocheting, bingo and play cards.

Survivors include her husband, Robert S. Griffin Sr, Rock Island; daughters, Vickie J. Glasgow, Moline, Cheryl Lester, Rock Island; sons, Robert S. Griffin II, Rock Island, Matthew(Christine) Griffin, Moline; grandchildren, Dawn, Royal, Missy, Sis, Brandy, David, Brandy, Randy, Morgan, Nicholas, Alexis, Sara, Robert III, Chelsea, Tyler, Jayme, Joel, Adara; great grandchildren, Kellsie, Keenan, Kayle, Ashlee, Lewis, Quinten, Noah, Marissa, Aleigha, Zoey, Zhane, Robert IV, Xander; great-great grandchildren, Damauri and Kingston; sister, in laws, Shiela Miller, McMinnville, OR., Joyce Miller, Maquoketa, IA, Carol Miller, TX; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jerry, Robert, Donald, Alvin, JR; sons in law and 2 grandchildren.
