Patrick Carmichael, 67, of Rock Island, passed away Monday, September 26, 2016 at his home.

No services are planned at this time. Memorials may be made to the family to be designated later.

Patrick was born March 17, 1949 in Rock Island, IL, a son of Bill and Marina (Economy) Carmichael, Jr. He had worked for John Deere for many years. He later was a waiter for several area restaurants and casinos. He enjoyed raising numerous houseplants at his home.

Surviving are his children, Tim Carmichael of Hattiesburg, Miss. and Traci (Tony) Walden, Morrison, Ill.; grandchildren, Kyrstin Weber, Devan Carmichael, Blaeke Wolfe, Orianna Walden, Xavier Hall, Emmerson and Slade Walden; three great-grandchildren; sisters and brother, Charlee Sheldon, Debbie Sheldon, and Ron Carmichael , all of the Hillsdale, Ill. area; and several nieces, nephews, and other family.

Patrick was preceded in death by his mother, father, and one sister, Kathy.
