Paul Hollars, 56, of Rock Island, died Sunday, September 24, 2017 at UnityPoint Health - Trinity, Rock Island.  Cremation rites were accorded.  A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Friday, October 20, 2017 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan.  Visitation will be an hour prior to service time at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in care of the family.

Paul was born in Rock Island, Ill. on February 14, 1961, a son of Alfred and Mildred Bryant Hollars.  He married Teresa Manuel in Rock Island on March 24, 1995.

Paul worked for Precision Aluminum in Rock Island.  He loved fishing and spending time with his grandkids.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Teresa Hollars, Rock Island; children (and spouses), Martin (Jessica) Hoteling, Jeremy (Tabitha) Hoteling, Jonathan (Erin) Hoteling and Patrick Hollars, all of Rock Island; grandchildren, Steven, Jayden, Louis, Kaden, Halie and Jace; siblings, Laurie (Rick) Robinson, Bettendorf, Mike Hollars, Bettendorf, Wayne Hollars, Davenport and Renee (Steve) Simoff, Davis City, Iowa; many step-brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews; and good friends, Tom Martin and Bob Mowry.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Donald Hollars.
