Paul L. Ingwersen, 53, of Eldridge, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Generations Rehabilitation Center at Rock Island after enduring a stroke in November.  Cremation rites will be accorded and a memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Park View Lutheran Church, 14 Grove Rd, Eldridge, IA .  A luncheon at the church will follow. Private inurnment is in Rock Island National Cemetery, Arsenal Island.  Memorials may be made in care of the family.

Paul was born on July 27, 1963 in DeWitt, Iowa, a son of Jens and Elva (Patzer) Ingwersen.  He graduated from North Scott High School and married Becky (Knepper) Robinson in 1987.  Paul served in the U. S. Army as a transportation specialist. He worked as a CNC operator at several area companies. Paul was a member of Park View Lutheran Church.  He enjoyed watching NASCAR racing and the History Channel.  In earlier years, he supported his children at their sporting events.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Nicole Ingwersen and Loren (Nikki) Ingwersen, all of Eldridge; grandchildren, Tanner, Christien, Lexi and one " on the way"; brother, David (Kim) Ingwersen, Crystal Lake, Ill. and many other loving family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
