Paul A. "Too Tall Paul" Rasmussen, 58, of Rock Island, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2015 at UnityPoint Health -Trinity, Rock Island. A memorial visitation for Mr. Rasmussen will be Wednesday from 4 to 6 pm at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to his family.

Paul was born on March 13, 1957 in Rock Island, a son of William "Bill" Rasmussen and Winifred "Jan" Lowery Rasmussen. Paul was a truck driver for USF Holland, Rock Island. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Local No. 371, Rock Island. Paul enjoyed watching drag racing and NASCAR. He also enjoyed fishing and was an avid Marilyn Monroe fan.

Survivors include his children, Emily (Justin) Iverson, Rock Island, Beth (Jake McGinnis) Rasmussen, East Moline and Elliot Rasmussen, Moline; granddaughters, Natalee Rasmussen and Hadley McGinnis; siblings, Steve (Paula) Rasmussen, Moline, John (Vicki) Rasmussen, Taylor Ridge and Robyn (Ben) Hamlin, Moline; nieces and nephews, Matt Rasmussen, Faith Rasmussen, Kody Hamlin, Jeremy Mlekush, Janell Mlekush, Joel Mlekush, Brooke Crippen, Jeffrey Nisbett, Nick Gnatovich and Lee Gnatovich; best friend and family, Tom and Marcy Misfeldt, Jenny Rodriguez and Stacy Misfeldt.
