Pauline Sheehan, 100, of Rock Island passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024 at Hope Creek Nursing and Rehab, East Moline.

A private graveside service will be held at Rock Island National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers and memorials, please consider performing a kind gesture in memory of Pauline.

Pauline was born on November 13, 1923 in Rock Island, IL, a daughter of Clyde and Anna (Brondel) Berlin. She married Elroy D. Sheehan on July 24, 1948 and he preceded her in death on July 22, 2010. Pauline owned and operated an alterations business for several years.

Those left to cherish Pauline's memory include her daughter, Peggy Dusenberry; son in law, Mark Johnson; grandchildren, Matthew (Johanna) Dusenberry, Patrick (Sarah) Dusenberry, Jarrod Dusenberry, Eric Dusenberry (Ericca Pepping), Michael Yeater, Jason Yeater and Bonnie (Chris) Weber; great grandchildren, Sean Yeater, Brandon Yeater, Michael Yeater, Seth Yeater, Bridgette Dusenberry, Sadie Jo Dusenberry, Brooklyn Dusenberry, Ashlan Dusenberry and Aaron Dusenberry; and several great-great grandchildren.

Pauline was preceded in death by her husband; parents; daughter, Deborah Johnson; son in law, Dale Dusenberry; granddaughter in law, Stacy Yeater; and siblings, Mildred Heacock, Lillian Shields, Eugene Berlin, Henry Berlin, Clyde Berlin, Boyd Forbes and June Swank.
