Peggy L. Benz, 68, of Rock Island, died Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at Generations at Rock Island.  A graveside service will be 10 am Monday, November 18, 2019 at Chapel Grove Cemetery, Taylor Ridge.  Memorials may be made in care of the family.  Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan, is assisting the family.

Peggy was born in Centerville, Iowa on June 27, 1951, a daughter of LaVern E. and Edna L. Wangelin Benz.

Peggy enjoyed dancing, listening to music and Starlite mints.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children (and spouses), Doug (Amy) Nichol, Clive, Iowa, Marsha (Bill) Holgorsen, Moline and Melissa Nichol, Panama City, Fla.; mother, Edna Benz, Reynolds; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and brothers, Ricky Benz, Kansas City, Mo., Rex Benz, Moline and Ryan (Christa) Benz, Reynolds.

She was preceded in death by her father.
