Phillip "Phil" T. Allen, 66, of Rock Island, passed away Friday, December 3, 2021, at UnityPoint Health-Trinity, Rock Island. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island.

Phil was born February 6, 1955, in Chicago, a son of Bob Madison and Helena Fowler. He married Sandra Caudill and worked in various occupations before retiring. Phil was a member of First Paradise Baptist Church in Rock Island. He was an avid sports fan, cheering on the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears, and Chicago Blackhawks.

Those left to cherish Phil's memory include his wife of 17 years, Sandra; children, Marlon McGee, Wesley (Amanda) McGee, Anthony McGee, Nicholas McGee, Tremont Wright, Courtney Martin, Eligha Scott, Cecilia Allen, Mark Kendall, and Devon Butler; 42 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; siblings, Yvonne Allen, Greg Madison, Troy Madison, and Doc Manning.

Phil was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Dagio; and 2 sisters.
