Polly Mitchell, 78, of Bettendorf, Iowa, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Hope Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in East Moline, Illinois.

A private memorial service will be held at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island, Illinois.

Polly was born on June 18, 1948, in Mequon, Wisconsin, a daughter of Donald and Barbra (White) Loeser. She graduated from high school, attended college, and spent the majority of her career working in sales.

Polly had a generous spirit and enjoyed giving back to her community through volunteer work, especially with the John Deere Classic. She loved spending time on the golf course and out on the water boating. In her younger years, Polly was an equestrian athlete and earned recognition as a state champion in synchronized swimming.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Albert; her son and daughter-in-law, Don and Katy Harder; her grandchildren, Mira and Otto; her stepchildren, Larry (Kim) Mitchell, Deb (Larry) Johnson, Jerry Mitchell, and Cheryl (Mike) Curtis; many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; her nephews, Ken and Kevin; and her niece, Karen.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister and brother-in-law, Rae and Roger Fehling.
